The nutrient Co-Enzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is found in every cell of the body, thus its other name, ubiqui-none. Ubiquinone is a naturally occuring substance with a molecular structure similar to vitamin K. Because the body must have energy to perform even the simplest operation, Co-EnzymeQ10 is an essential component of the mitochondria - the energy producing part of the cell.
